ACCOMMODATIONS

GENERAL

The 550 Sedan Bridge features 3 staterooms and 2 heads, a raised dinette and galley, a comfortable salon with twin curved couches.

 

Salon:

Aft and down a step from the galley is the salon.  The salon, dinette and galley areas all feature wood blinds.  The salon has 2 sofas with accent pillows.  To port and aft is the electrical panel.  To starboard is the entertainment center featuring Bose Lifestyle 35 surround sound system with a DVD Player, 5 speakers and subwoofer.  There is a storage cabinet and a 30” flat screen “Z” TV with DVD and CD player.  All of the lighting is LED 24 Volts. SWEET MELISSA has custom curtains throughout, elliptical stainless steel handrails and central vacuum system.

Galley:

Stepping out of the salon to the galley area which is to starboard and the dinette to port. The galley’s  countertop is solid surface with cutting board, sink and single lever faucet. There is wood flooring throughout the area.  To starboard is the freezer with the icemaker, Sub Zero, refrigerator is under the counter Sub Zero drawer, microwave and convection oven with stainless steel face.  The stove is on the counter.  It is a recessed two burner Kenyon.  There is a slide out trash receptacle and a wine rack with custom storage. The dinette is a wraparound with storage below.  The table is a hi-glossed wood surface with storage below.

Cockpit:

The cockpit area is aft of the salon and features a molded staircase to the flybridge, with a transom door and gate that leads out to the swim platform and access to the Yamaha Jetski. Along the back of the cockpit with a storage locker below,  a removable bench seating arrangement is located. There is an indirect as well as overhead lighting, side storage lockers and stainless hand rails. There are also boarding steps both port and starboard. 

Flybridge:

From the starboard side of the cockpit is the molded staircase to the flybridge.  The fly bridge features a large seating area aft, a helm and companion seat at the helm, and additional seating in front of the helm.  The hardtop is fiberglass with overhead storage, grab rails, overhead lighting with electronic dimmer and red night lighting.  Forward of the helm and to starboard is a U-line icemaker and Norcold refrigerator.

The steering wheel is wood-accent.  There is a New Fusion AM/FM stereo and speakers (4-bridge, 2-cockpit). There’s also a bridge table, wet bar, removable trash receptacle and storage forward. There is a television on the bridge. The flybridge hardtop has a full enclosure and is fully air conditioned. 

 Foredeck:

The foredeck of SWEET MELISSA has a Lofrans windlass chain/rode with remote pedals at the bow.  There is a mesh cover for the windshield that allows people to look out, but no one can see in.  There is a full 316 marine grade stainless steel bow rail.

Engine Room:

The engine room is accessed from the cockpit through a gas-assisted hatch. In the engine room are the Optional 900 HP Common Rail MANs.

 

OWNER

The master stateroom is all the way aft under the raised galley/dinette area above.  It’s a full beam stateroom with a queen athwartship bed.  The bed has storage below with a gas-assisted hatch.

There is a countertop beveled mirror and a maple lined hanging locker with light.  The master stateroom also features: stereo system, with cube speakers, a dresser and lift top vanity. A storage locker maple lined with adjustable shelves and a 20” flat screen TV LCD.

The master stateroom head and shower is en-suite and accessed from the stateroom. The floors in the head are hardwood, the head itself is a large VacuFlush head.  There is a vent system.  The shower features a seat, shower wand and acrylic door.  The vanity has a solid surface countertop.  The sink is stainless steel and features Grohe faucet.

 

GUESTS

VIP Stateroom:

All the way forward below is the VIP stateroom which features a centerline queen bunk.  To starboard and aft of the bunk is an enclosed shower.  The head is shared with the guest stateroom.  The VIP features a maple line hanging locker and storage cabinet with drawers to port along with a new 18” TV.

Guest Stateroom:

Aft and to starboard is the guest stateroom which features crisscrossed over and under bunks. There’s a hanging locker that is maple lined and an 18” television.  Outside of this stateroom houses the combination washer/dryer with a storage cupboard.

COMMENTS

Her blue hull sets SWEET MELISSA apart from the rest.  A super clean vessel as you would expect from a meticulous preventative maintenance minded owner.

All machinery recently serviced, including MAN engines 1000-hour service. Bottom paint, new underwater lights, prop speed, all cutlass and shaft seals have been replaced and propellers balanced. Some electronics were also replaced, new interior LED lighting added throughout and flybridge enclosure was replaced in 2019.  Even in the extreme summer heat the flybridge air conditioner keeps the temperature at a comfortable level.

SWEET MELISSA is the most powerful yacht in her class! She has exceptionally good lines as well as everything you need for cruising all types of waters.
